Astegon is a Dragon and Dark Pal that is mainly found on Mount Obsidian and possesses Active Skills that can deal either Dragon or Dark damage.
This Pal may be one of the deadliest foes that you will meet in the game but once captured, you can utilize Astegon as a flying mount and attack enemies in the process.
Astegon is known well for its ability to easily destroy different nodes to quickly provide you with materials that you want to farm.

A Field Boss Variant of Astegon may be found in the Destroyed Mineshaft, which you may enter at (-574, 417) at Mount Obsidian.

Astegon is one of the best Pals when it comes to mining due to the damage it can deal and its high level of Mining, making it easy to get certain materials.

Astegon can be a challenge even if you are on the same level as it and it is recommended that you have heat-resistant armor if you are going to challenge or capture it at Mount Obsidian.
While Astegon may not have a lot of work skills to do tasks at your base, its skill in Mining will get you a lot of materials quickly and it can efficiently defend against raiders.
Players may utilize Astegon to wipe out an entire area that has ore nodes in it, which will allow you to pick up the materials from them.
