If you have just found Karlach and have ended up recruiting her, you will have seen visions from her past after the tadpole has connected you.
This backs up her story about being hunted by the servants of Zariel who are pretending to be Paladins of Tyr.
Karlach needs your help with taking this group out as they intend to capture her and enslave her to the service of Zariel, which you are to put a stop to.
Where To Find Zariel’s Servant?
The group that is hunting Karlach can be found within the Toll Collector’s Building, which is just near where you found her.
There will be a waypoint showing the location of the building and it can be found just above the cliff where you pass. (Toll Collector’s Key can be found along the way)
How To Defeat Fake Paladins of Tyr?
The group of fake Paladins of Tyr includes Anders, Trynn, and Cyrel but they won’t be hostile at first and if you speak to them, they will appear to be scared of Karlach.
Speaking to them will end up with them claiming that Karlach is the one tormenting them but things are not always as they seem.
Should you pass an Insight Check, you will be able to discover that Anders is lying and may start the attack against them. (You can deal with them in two ways.
1) Stealth Attack
One of the ways for you to clear out Zariel’s servants is to sneak around and take out Cyrel first as she is separated from the other two.
Opening the door will give you a line of sight to target Anders and Trynn, which may allow you to get another stealth kill and easily clear out the rest of them.
2) Attack On Sight
You can attack the group as soon as you enter the building since they won’t attack unless they are threatened.
This gives you the option to attack Cyrel once you enter or the other members depending on who you want to take out first. (You can choose your spots in advance)
Tips on Defeating Zariel’s Servants
A good way to defeat Zariel’s Servants is to first take out Cyrel with stealth since Anders and Trynn won’t even notice what happens if you kill her instantly with a stealth kill.
You may then enter the room where Anders and Trynn can be found, positioning yourself depending on what range is best for your characters.
Focusing your attacks on Anders may be one of the best options since he can deal a lot of damage while the other two are not much of a threat.
Verdict
Taking out Anders and his group will complete the Hunt the Devil quest, but you should watch out as Karlach may rage for a bit and start destroying things while setting the area ablaze.
Once Anders and his group are taken out, it would be good to loot the vault in the basement of the Toll Collector’s Building.
Make sure you deal with Anders as soon as possible as he wields a strong weapon and has an Extra Attack passive feature, granting him another attack per turn.
