Xenogard (Location, Breeding, Drops, Uses & Partner Skill)

Xenogard is a Dragon Pal that originates from outer space and is tied to the Xenovaders that appear when meteorites hit Palpagos Island.

This large Dragon Pal can be a huge threat when you are fighting against it but once caught, you can deal serious damage with it.

Aside from being able to use this Pal (and even ride it), having Xenogard in your team will allow you to collect certain ores easily.

Xenogard Location

You can find Xenogard Pal in Astral Mountains or the Dessicated Desert

Xenogard cannot be found on Palpagos Island like most Pals that you would capture and instead, it arrives along with meteorites.

Since the Meteorite spawns certain Pals based on where you are located, it would be best to stay in places such as the Astral Mountains or the Dessicated Desert.

This will give you a good chance of encountering a Xenogard but beware other enemies will be after it as well, so make sure you take them out before they defeat it.

Xenogard Breeding

Unlike the other Pals that can be bred with other species to achieve a whole different type, Xenogard cannot be bred through combinations.

The only way for you to breed Xenogard would be to have a male and female variant and breed them to get an egg that hatches into it.

Xenogard Uses

Xenogard is a powerful Pal and makes use of various Active Skills to deal damage to its enemies and even disable them.

This Dragon Pal mainly gains Dragon Active Skills but also learns other types such as Icicle Line (Ice) and Air Blade (Neutral) giving you other ways to damage enemies.

You may ride Xenogard into battle, which allows you to manually use its Active Abilities to attack your enemies.

Partner Skill

Xenogard’s Partner Skill is called Crater Enthusiast, which allows you to use this Pal as a mount to travel faster and attack enemies with its Active Skills.

Aside from being able to ride Xenogard, you will be able to obtain Meteorite Fragments and Pure Quartz easier when it is in your team.

This makes Xenogard a good Pal to have if you are going after Meteorites often and if you tend to mine Pure Quartz for better farming efficiency.

Work Suitability

Xenogard appears to only be able to help out at a base when it comes to mining ore and due to his huge size, this can sometimes make your base feel a bit smaller.

  • Mining (Level 3)

Possible Drops

Xenogard Drops

  • Meteorite Fragment (100%)
  • High Quality Pal Oil (100%)

Alpha Xenogard Drops

  • Ancient Civilization Parts (100%)
  • Meteorite Fragment (100%)
  • High Quality Pal Oil (100%)
  • Precious Entrails (100%)
  • Ring of Dragon Resistance +1 (3%)

Verdict

Xenogard may not be as mobile as most Pals and this is given by its large size but it can still roam, jump, and unleash powerful attacks.

If you tend to mine Meteorites or plan on heading out to mine Pure Quartz, keeping this Pal on your team will save you time and make everything easier.

Xenogard mainly deals Dragon Damage to enemies with its Active Skills, making it more effective against Dark Pals.
