Dogen is a Neutral Pal that was introduced with the Sakurajima Update, providing players with a way to combat some of the hardest enemies and even find their way back home.
This Pal mainly uses Neutral Attacks when it comes to damaging enemies and has an Exclusive Skill called Wholehearted Stance that lets it block and counter enemy attacks.
Dogen is mostly seen as a good companion to have when you travel since it can take you back to your base but is also ideal for those who need reliable workers at a base too.
Dogen Location
Dogen can only be found in Sakurajima, which is where you can see these Pals meditating endlessly until they are provoked and attack you.
These Neutral Pals may be found around the Dancing Sakura Shrine location on Sakurajima and are often found by themselves.
Dogen Breeding Combinations
Dogen is only found on Sakurajima, which makes it difficult to capture the Pal unless you are around level 40 to 50 when you reach the island.
There is however an alternative to capturing Dogen and this is breeding, which is doable with several Pal combinations.

Dogen Uses
Dogen features multiple Neutral Attacks that can be used against your enemies and these can be chosen to create a build with fast attacks or powerful instances of damage.
This Neutral Pal has a powerful Exclusive Skill which allows it to block incoming damage and counter with a powerful attack, which can come in handy from time to time.
Aside from being good in a fight, you can assign Dogen to your base to help out with several tasks so you don’t have to assign different Pals for each one.
Partner Skill
Dogen’s Partner Skill is called Homeward Prayer, which gives this Pal the ability to send you back to the nearest base.
This happens when you activate the ability, which after some time will teleport you to whichever base is closest to you.
Using Homeward Prayer is a great way to get back to your base when you are carrying too much or are trying to get out of a dangerous situation. (Has a 1000-second cooldown)
