How To Get Mysterious Mushroom?
1) Chopping Giant Mushrooms
Practically the best and easiest way for you to get Mysterious Mushrooms is to go to Sakurajima and head for the Mushroom Wetlands.
When you reach the Mushroom Wetlands, you will notice that there are several overgrown mushrooms in the area and these may be cut down.
Using an Axe is the best way to cut these down as the mushrooms are considered to be trees and once you cut them down, Mushrooms and Mysterious Mushrooms will drop.
2) Defeating Shroomer Noct
Another way to get Mysterious Mushrooms is to defeat Shroomer Noct Pals, which are a variant of Shroomer that can be seen during the night.
You will encounter Shroomer Noct at night in the Mushroom Wetlands just as you would with regular Shroomers and defeat them to get a Mysterious Mushroom.
While this is one of the ways to get Mysterious Mushrooms, it is better to stick with cutting down the mushroom trees as this is easier and safer.
Uses of Mysterious Mushroom
Mysterious Mushroom is used to craft Mysterious Mushroom Juice, which provides the Pal that drinks it with increased work speed once they consume it.
In total, you will need the following to make the Mysterious Mushroom Juice:
- 20 Mysterious Mushroom
- 10 Beautiful Flower
- 10 Horn
- 5 Bone
- 5 Pal Fluids
The Mysterious Mushroom Juice will increase your Pal’s work speed but this also decreases their sanity, which makes it important to use this when necessary. (Such as if you plan to mass-craft something)

Mysterious Mushrooms are best used for crafting Mysterious Mushroom Juice, which requires quite a large amount but is also worth the trouble.
Eating Mysterious Mushrooms does not have that much of a bad effect on your character or Pals but it would be better to resort to other food if you are hungry.
Saving up on Mysterious Mushrooms is possible if you place them in a structure that provides cooling such as a Cooler Box or Refrigerator.
