Palworld Junkyard (Location, How to Get & Drops)

The Sakurajima Update introduced new features to the game, and this includes the Junkyards that can be found all around Palpagos Island.

These Junkyards appear to be damaged structures and leftovers from others but that doesn’t mean that they cannot be salvaged.

Finding these as you explore provides you an opportunity to obtain certain loot that may come in handy both during the earlier and late parts of the game.

Where To Find Junkyards?

Junkyards can be found pretty much anywhere, and this becomes much easier if you are flying as you can spot them from a distance.

Once you get close enough, you will notice the wreckage and can approach it to check out what kind of loot you can get from it.

There are certain spots where Junkyards will spawn, which makes it easy to collect from the same spot now and then if any appear near your base.

Junkyards can give you a lot of items once you interact with them, which takes a few seconds before you take the loot, and the Junkyard disappears.

Depending on where you find the Junkyard, the quality of the items increases and will provide you with early or late-game items.

These include ammo for weapons, spheres for catching pals, materials, and even the newly added Dog Coins that are used for trading with the Medal Merchant.

The following are known to be obtainable from Junkyards:

  • Ammo
  • Cement
  • Circuit Boards
  • Dog Coins
  • Gold
  • Keys
  • Nails
  • Paldium Fragments
  • Spheres

Verdict

Junkyards are a great way to get items early in the game as these will include crafting materials that allow you to build structures faster.

Getting a good supply of currency such as Gold and Dog Coins will allow you to eventually save up when you need to buy things from the merchants.

One of the best things about Junkyards is that they will sometimes have keys, and these can later be used to open up Red Chests that you find for awesome loot.
