Quivern Botan is a Grass and Dragon Pal, a variant of Quivern that features altered attacks compared to its original variant.
This Pal features all of the work skills that its original variant has with the addition of it being able to plant seeds at the different plantations you have at your base.
Just like with Quivern, this Pal can also be used as a flying mount and may even be assigned to a base due to its many skills and powerful attacks.
Quivern Location
Multiple Quivern Botan spawns all around Sakurajima and these can often be seen with the regular variants of Quivern.
You will find Quivern Botan often in the Cherry Blossom Roads around (-505, 216) as well as south of the Secluded Cemetery around (-695,155) as they are scattered around the area.
Quivern Uses
Much like Quivern, this variant offers a lot when it comes to working at a base with the added work suitability that allows it to plant seeds.
This Pal can be great for both working at a base or when it comes to fighting by your side and may even be used as transportation since it can fly.
Using Quivern Botan gives you multiple Grass Attacks that can be useful against Ground Pals that you encounter.
Partner Skill
Quivern Botan has the Grass Dragon Affection Partner Skill, which allows you to ride this Grass and Dragon Pal once you have crafted the Quivern Botan Saddle.
With the Quivern Botan Saddle kept in your inventory, you will be able to mount this Pal and manually use its Active Skills to attack enemies.
Because of this Partner Skill, Grass Attacks will be enhanced when you are riding Quivern Botan, which improves the Grass damage the Pal deals when you control it.

Quivern Botan features a set of work suitability skills similar to the regular variant of Quivern but has the exception of being able to plant seeds when assigned to a base.

Verdict
Quivern Botan provides you with another powerful and more agile Grass (and Dark) Pal to use against some of the stronger Ground Pals.
The ability to fly makes this Pal very useful since it can travel faster than some of the earlier flying Pals you can find in the game.
With its ability to plant seeds, gather crops, and fight off enemies, Quivern Botan has become a great addition to bases.
