Since Ribbuny can craft items, it would be a good idea to assign it to a Weapon Workbench if you have no other Pals that have a higher Handiwork Level.
Partner Skill
Ribbuny has the Skilled Fingers Partner Skill, which allows it to provide the previously mentioned boost to Neutral Pals that increases their Attack Power.

Ribbuny is a great Pal to have on your team if you have just started and is often found once you move out from the starting locations on Palpagos Island.
