Nitewing can be used as an offensive Pal in your party, being able to utilize different attacks when you are in a fight.
Its ability to fly makes it a useful Pal for reaching different areas, especially when you don’t have enough stamina to climb on your own.
Even if Nitewing is a Neutral Pal, it is capable of learning some Grass and Ground attacks, which can be useful against certain enemies.
Partner Skill
Nitewing’s Partner Skill allows you to ride this Pal as a flying mount, which consumes stamina as you use its ability to ascend, descend, and travel through the air.
This Partner Skill can only be used once you have unlocked and crafted the Nitewing Saddle (Key Item), which must be kept in your inventory.
Nitewing’s ability to fly around offers you a better way to reach difficult areas and can be a good way to scout around and collect items all over the island.

Nitewing may not be the fastest flyer in the game but it is one of the Pals you want to get your hands on since it can be good for fighting and moving around.
One of the best early uses for Nitewing is to pick at enemies at camps or weaken Pals since it can use Windcutter and Air Cannon consecutively due to their low cooldowns.
Using Nitewing to get around is a huge advantage, especially if you need to cross bodies of water as it will stay above the water even if its stamina runs out.
