Eikthyrdeer Terra is an endangered variant of the original Eikthyrdeer, which gains different Active Skills once it levels up.
This variant of Eikthyrdeer is a Ground Pal, which makes it effective against Electricity Pals while retaining the other abilities as its original.
While this Pal is rarer than its original variant, you can still capture it but some players prefer to resort to breeding to avoid doing criminal activities.
Eikthyrdeer Terra Location
Eikthyrdeer Terra can only be captured at the No. 1 Wildlife Sanctuary or, you can always resort to breeding it at your base. (Requires Breeding Farm)
How To Breed Eikthyrdeer Terra?
You can breed Eikthyrdeer Terra by adding a regular Eikthyrdeer and a Hanyu to a Breeding Farm, which will result in a Large Rocky Egg being produced.
Eikthyrdeer Terra Uses
Eikthyrdeer Terra is similar to its original variant in many ways, with the change mainly being its element being Ground instead of Neutral.
This Ground Pal also can collect Wood, which it can do by attacking trees or farming at a Logging Site.
You can get around the island faster by riding this Pal as a mount and may use its double jump to reach higher areas.
Partner Skill
Eikthyrdeer Terra has the Guardian of the Golden Forest Partner Skill, which provides your character with a boost in cutting trees as well as the ability to ride it if you craft its saddle.
Just like its original variant, Eikthyrdeer Terra is capable of providing its rider with the ability to perform a double jump when ridden.
Once you mount Eikthyrdeer Terra, you can manually use its Active Skills and may even fire your weapon as you ride this Pal.
Work Suitability
When placed in a base, Eikthyrdeer Terra will collect Wood by attacking nearby trees and will also work at a Logging Site if one is available.

Verdict
While the original Eikthyrdeer can be a useful Pal to have, this Ground Pal offers you more damage against Electric Pals if you need it.
Its ability to gather a lot of Wood at a base will save you the trouble of having to go out and collect it from trees yourself.
Getting this Ground Pal early in the game can happen as early as you can to capture a regular Eikthyrdeer and a Hangyu.
